Peninsula fireplace mantles can be built with a flush base or a larger, hearth type base, as shown here. Pricing is the same as standard types, with the flush base being less expensive.

Peninsula style 1
This is a standard white lacquer peninsula. All peninsula mantles come with a decorative rear panel on both sides to hide the venting at the back of the unit.

Peninsula style 2
This oak unit was designed to house a two sided electric fireplace. The decorative panel on the front is an extra charge. (oak with a stain and lacquer).

“I’m absolutely amazed how a well designed mantle can improve the look of an old fireplace.”
